The Shelton-Mason County Chamber of Commerce believes that the future of our local economy is directly related to the development of a strong workforce. We also recognize the value of continuing education and professional development. As such, we offer workshops/training events and encourage our members to utilize additional resources available to them.
If you missed an educational luncheon or workshop, you can access our online archives for resource materials.
The May 24 program provided a look into the current state of primary and higher education in Mason County and what the future has in store for our schools. Speaking at the luncheon were Olympic College Shelton Campus Administrator Allison Smith, Hood Canal School District #404 Superintendent Shawn Batstone, and Shelton School District Superintendent Dr. Alex Apostle.
